Chiropractic Examinations

I provide complete chiropractic examinations, which includes a postural evaluation, a range of motion evaluation, an orthopedic evaluation, a neurologic evaluation, and a vertebral subluxation assessment. The primary purpose of this examination is to obtain a good clinical picture as to the health status of your spine and to assess you for vertebral subluxations. The secondary purpose of this examination is to screen you for any potential pathologies, which may necessitate a medical referral.

Chiropractic Adjustments

I provide two types of chiropractic adjusting techniques. The first being the traditional-hands on type of adjustment and the second being an advanced instrument-assisted adjustment. Both adjusting techniques are equally effective and allow me to accommodate those who like a more forceful/general adjustment and those who like a more gentle/precise adjustment. For certain people, I will incorporate both types of adjustments based on individual needs.

Electric Muscle Stimulation

I also provide electric muscle stimulation (EMS) therapy. The purpose of EMS therapy is to help assist the chiropractic adjustment in reducing muscle spasms, inflammation, and pain.

Home Care Recommendations

In addition to chiropractic adjustments and electric muscle stimulation therapy, I also provide each patient instruction on the use of ice, heat, and rehabilitative exercises to do at home. These instructions are integral part of the care I provide here and allow each patient the opportunity to take a more active role in their recovery.
